The Parent Guide provides an overview of Safety Strong student training and helpful suggestions for ways parents can participate in creating a safe school and community. To supplement the two-week student training, a conversation guide is offered to facilitate discussions between parent and child on lockdown safety.   A vital aspect of the Parent Guide is recommendations for parents/guardians to take during an active threat emergency at the school.
